Future home design

Self sufficiency +grow and store your food

Modular design to suit different sites.

The WELL living standards flows from the outside into the home where self sufficiency underpins the design.

Folding walls create more internal space, quiet work stations, zen space and home schooling are just  few of the design features.

9 units on two small blocks

Modular design for shared ownership

Modular design, ownership flexibility and community living are the key highlights of this development.

The design allows two owners to live independently within one modular shell.

A mix of 2 and 3 bedrooms layouts will suit downsizers. Living and sleeping on the ground floor makes it NDIS friendly.

Duplex 100% different

One owner cn build now. The other later!

The duplex design offers construction flexibility through minimal common/shared walls.

One owner can live in their 50 square- 5 bedroom ( in-laws live in turns) home with  zoned living spaces, a library, media and gym spaces. A duplex designed for entertaining where the outside seamlessly  flows into the home.

Early Learning Centre

The young occupants stay in the enchanted forest or uner the circus tent setings!

Healthy living was the brief.

We have designed a child care centre which has the rail station across the road and a reserve on the opposite side   boundary creating a unique location. The use of natural building materials and permeable facade blends the facility into the backdrop of trees.

Home reno to die for

We turn a small heritage cottage into contemporary resort style living!

We loved the original features and kept the built form and two fireplaces intact. After opening up the original rooms into a grand master suite and  media room, large study, bedroom   and luxury bathrooms, the home is extended in the rear to match the existing architecture with new carport, large family room with gourmet  but practical kitchen (thanks to the owners suggestions we took on board!),  three additional bedrooms, a retreat and outdoor kitchen.

Living in the pandemic era

Design for self sufficiency

Designing for the uncertainty was the challenge. What if we go through another lockdown in say10 years.

Can we then  self isolate or can one person in a family self isolate without feeling left out totally in the dark?

Can we have enough storage areas?  Can we generate our own power and water?

Can we produce food?

Can the kids still be at home without going through mental anguish?
Can the parent or any family member  find a quiet space to contemplate. And can we work from home.

This home was designed to address all these social concerns.
