DUAL OCCUPANCY WITH A DIFFERENCE

THE DUAL OCCUPANCY JOURNEY:

We began with a design brief and an opinion on the size and type of built form. The property owners were impressed with the yield.

A detailed financial feasibility study was not requested. We can prepare one to give indicative outcomes. Of course the final feasibility occurs when the Tenders are awarded.

The dual occupancy home  plans were submitted to owners  for feedback.

The dual occupancy design is underpinned by two pavillions; the private/family and  entertaining pavilions. The new dual occupancy home is sited at the rear of the property. The existing home is retained only to be developed later. The property is zoned Neighbourhood Residential with a maximum of two dwellings allowed on the  land.

After design feedback from the property owners the elevations were finalised.

The living and family pavilions are separated by a toddler friendly courtyard which seamlessly integrates into the living area with its  large bi-fold doors opening onto terraced decks.

The open plan living and dining design enjoy high timber lined ceilings with a mezzanine study/cubby house  above the kitchen.

Mum can watch her kids  play -from her custom design lux kitchen- in the secure courtyard with its green herb wall. A juliette balcony in the Master bedroom suite overlooks the courtyard and living pavillion below.

The new dual occ home follows the contours of the sloping block in a Melbourne suburb adding value through the dual occupancy subdivision.

The New  dual occupancy design  ticks the planning regulations to a great extent for a dual occupancy development. It's more of a custom designed home than a standard dual occupancy design. Why settle for less!

Can we  dual occupancy your home too?

Complete the form and we will tell you- at no cost to you -if your  property ticks the  planning boxes- like minimum lot size, size of land, overlays, orientation, services, and zoning to name a few.
