Some property titles may have a covenant attached to it. They remain till removed.
The two troublesome ones we find are:
Single dwelling covenants and
External walls must be built in brick.
The Single dwelling covenant means you cannot build more than one house on the land.
The external facade must be built in brick means first floors cannot be lightweight construction which are more economical to construct.
We can apply for a Planning application with the covenant.
If there are objections to the application then Council will have to refuse the application.
